Mobile Studio Cake Smash Session & Outdoor Family Session

Noah’s parents asked me to capture their little boy’s first birthday with an outdoor family photoshoot on their property in Mangrove mountain on the NSW Central Coast, followed by a cake smash session. It was simple, relaxed and exactly how first birthdays should feel.

Shooting at home always makes things easier — everyone feels comfortable, especially little ones. Noah had space to move, explore and just be himself. That’s when the best photos happen.

There were cuddles with Mum, big smiles with Dad and plenty of those in-between moments that show real connection. First birthdays aren’t just about the baby — they’re about celebrating a whole year of becoming a family.

Noah wasn’t quite sure at first. But soon there was icing on his hands, cake on his face, lots of laughter. No over-the-top styling — just natural reactions and genuine expressions.
